BASIC INFORMATION
1. Who is included in this settlement?
Individuals who were NYT digital subscribers with a New York billing zip code, who were directly billed by NYT (not a third party), and who cancelled their NYT digital subscription between January 19, 2018 and June 30, 2022 and individuals who were NYT home delivery subscribers with a New York billing zip code, who were directly billed by NYT (not a third party), and who cancelled their NYT home delivery subscription between January 19, 2018 and August 9, 2023, are included in this settlement.
2. What does the Settlement provide?
Under this Settlement, each Eligible Subscriber is entitled to a one-time payment of $14 in restitution, which you may claim by submitting a claim form. Submit your claim form online or by mail or email to claim your payment. Claims filed by mail or email will receive a payment by check.
If you wish to receive your payment electronically, please file a claim online. You can receive your payment via PayPal, Venmo, ACH, virtual Mastercard or check.
3. How do I make a claim?
By submitting a valid claim form on or before the claims deadline of March 3, 2026. If you are an Eligible Subscriber, you can make a claim by filling out and submitting the claim form available here.
You can submit a Claim Form online using the claim number and PIN found in the email you received or the claim form you received in the mail, or mail or email the claim form you received by mail.

Claims will be subject to a verification process. You will need the Claim Number and PIN provided on the front of your Claim Form (or the top of your email notice) to fill out a Claim Form online. If you do not know your Claim Number or PIN, please contact the Settlement Administrator at the contact information above.
4. What happens if I do nothing?
If you do nothing, you will receive no payment under the Settlement.
5. How can I update my address?
You can update your address when you submit a claim form. If your address changes after you submit your claim form, you must notify the Settlement Administrator. You may email the Settlement Administrator at NewYorkAGSettlement@noticeadministrator.com providing your name, claim number, old address, and new address or write to this address:
